PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widely use a thermal decomposition gas generated from a thermal decomposition furnace for various type heat sources by removing the gas as a high calorie gas. ;SOLUTION: The thermal decomposition furnace 1 is divided into the front stage 1a of an inlet 2 side and the rear stage 1b of an outlet 3 side. A gas removal line 16 is connected to the inlet 2, and a gas removal line 18 is connected to the outlet 3. Thermal decomposition gas 7a containing much moisture generated from a waste 6 at the stage 1a is removed as a low calorie gas via the line 16, and thermal decomposition gas 7b containing low moisture generated in the stage 1b is removed as a high calorie gas via the line 18.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
