PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb vibrations generated in an engine body and to reduce a vibration loaded onto a wire harness by a method, wherein a protective material for the wire harness is molded by a fiber-reinforced rubber or a fiber-reinforced resin having a required elasticity and a required strength and the protective material is coupled to the engine body and to a vehicle body by using a coupling implement. ;SOLUTION: A part X which is stretched between a vehicle body 3 and an engine body 2 at a wire harness 10 is sheathed with a cylindrical protective member 11 composed of a fiber-reinforced rubber. At this time, the protective material 10 has a required strength and a required rigidity, and it is bent into a gentle S-shape. Then, hand clips 13, 14 are attached to the outer circumferential face of the protective material 11, and buckle lips 15, 16 are wound directly on the outer circumferential part of the wire harness 10, so as to be mounted properly on the car body 3 and on the engine body 2. Thereby, vibration which is generated in the engine body 2 is absorbed by the protective material 11, and vibration which is transmitted to the wire harness 10 can be attenuated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
