PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drying and curing during transportation and storage and to eliminate the difficulty in engraving by vacuum packaging wet process tile ware bodies with synthetic resin films having a moisture content within a specific range. ;SOLUTION: The moisture content of the wet process tile ware bodies which are extruded and cut by a pug mill and are subjected to press molding according to need is specified to 15 to 20wt.%, more preferably 16 to 19wt.%. These wet process tile ware bodies 1 are coated with antimicrobial agents and are then shipped after the ware bodies are vacuum packaged wit the synthetic resin films 2. When used, the synthetic resin films 2 are peeled and the wet process tile ware bodies 1 are engraved with desired patterns by a chisel, etc. The engraving of the tile ware bodies with a spoon, bamboo spatula, etc., is possible when the moisture content is high. The wet process tile ware bodies 1 engraved with the patterns are sent to a tile factory and are returned after firing. The storage of the tile ware bodies by maintaining the moisture content constant over a long period of time is made possible by the vacuum packaging and the industrial mass production thereof is made possible. The inexpensive supply of the tile ware bodies from the tile factory to schools, etc., is thus possible.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
