PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the removing of an oxidized layer for preventing the conductivity reduction of an anode due to oxidation to be generated in a baking treatment by providing an apex part layer of an oxidation resistant material on the anode. ;SOLUTION: An anode 24 and a cathode 26 are respectively provided with a deposition layer 46 and a bulk layer 48. These layers 46, 48 are conductive and characteristics (strucurtral states) of them are uniform over longitudinal directions of respective electrodes. Moreover, a heat resistant layer (coating of heat resistant material) 54 is provided on the cathode 26. Then, the anode 24 has a protective apex part layer 50. The apex part layer (upper surface) 50 being on the bulk layer 48 is conductive and is produced with material having a strong resistance with respect to oxidation. Further, the characteristic (structural state) of the protective apex part layer 50 is uniform over the longitudinal direction of the electrode. There are gold, silver, platinum, rhodium and iridium or the like as material suitable for such a protective apex part layer 50.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
