PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven type hand massager which does not require special manipulation, other than such manipulation that a grip part is grasped for massage, and which has a drive part semi-automatically turned on and of so as to be excellent in manipulatability. ;SOLUTION: A hand massager comprises a grip part 1 composed of a spherical body 11 and a plurality of protrusions 12 for stimulating a hand grasping the periphery of the spherical body 11, and a massaging part 2 composed of a cylindrical body 21 and a plurality of protrusions 22 for stimulating a hand grasping the periphery of the cylindrical body 21. Further, a drive part for rotating or vibrating the massaging part 2 through the intermediary of a drive shaft 3 is incorporated in the grip part 1, and at least one 21a of the protrusions 12 of the grip part serves as a switch manipulating member for turning on and off the drive part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
