SOLUTION: This virus proliferation suppressor contains, as active ingredients, at least one or more substances selected from a plant body ingredients-containing substance group (a group containing virus proliferation suppressing ingredients derived from a plant) comprising all or parts of plant bodies of at least one or more plants selected from a plant group comprising a plant belonging to the genus Brassica and capable of producing a virus proliferation-suppressing substance in the plant body and a plant belonging to the genus Daucus and capable of producing a virus proliferation-suppressing substance in the plant body, ground materials of all or parts of these plant bodies, juice of all or parts of these plant bodies and extracts of all or parts of these plant bodies. This pharmaceutical composition comprises the virus proliferation suppressor.
