PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas storing facility by hydrating natural gas, which can safely store natural gas, minimize the consumption of energy such as electricity and does not require large area. ;SOLUTION: This gas storing facility is provided with a hydrate tank 32, in which hydrate (h) is formed by supplying natural gas in the chilled water in which ice particles are formed, and natural gas is stored for storing the hydrate (h) therein, a separator 36 for separating the hydrate (h) stored in the hydrate tank 32 into natural gas and water and a heat accumulator 38, which heats the hydrate (h) while being supplied to the separator 36 and is used for accumulating heat as a heat sink when hydrate is formed from natural gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
