CUTTING-DOWN PREVENTIVE DEVICE FOR METALLIC PIPING OR THE LIKE FOR ROAD CUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop cutting work immediately and move back a road cutter when a different piping material is cut down by error about metallic piping to be cut which is buried in a paved road during road cutting work. ;SOLUTION: When a blade of a road cutter comes in contact with a metallic pipeline or the like which is buried in a paved road, the rotary speed of an engine is dramatically reduced. A clutch drive output circuit 70 is switched OFF with a latched circuit 60 by using this load fluctuation, thus halting self- running for cutting immediately. Then, either automatic running or non- automatic running is discriminated. When the self-running comes to a half, a running back circuit 90, which backs the running, is provided and connected to the clutch drive output circuit 70.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
