PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the outflow of a borrow material, soil on the face of a slope and a greening vegetation material effectively, and to improve slope protective and greening performance and reliability together with workability. ;SOLUTION: In a method of greening protective construction of the face of a slope, a gauze 1 in thickness (t) is laid on the face of the slope S, a plurality of greening vegetation material bags 5 formed in a cylindrical shape are arranged horizontally in the gauze 1 at vertical intervals while a plurality of cylindrical brushes 10 are disposed horizontally into the gauze 1 on the lower sides of the greening vegetation material bags, borrow materials 9 are spread extending over the whole region of the gauze 1 or soil on the face of the slope S is received and used as the borrow materials 9, and the borrow materials 9 and soil on the face of the slope S and a greening vegetation material are received by the cylindrical brushes 10 and the face of the slope S is protected and greened. In a greening protective device for the face of the slope, the cylindrical brushes 10 have core materials 11 formed by intertwisting a plurality of wires or cords and fiber groups 12 formed by radially scattering a large number of natural fibers or synthetic resin fibers around the core materials 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
