PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the efficient production management of products which successively produces one piece of work by a process stage and working stage for thin-film head products, etc., at a good yield. ;SOLUTION: The product quality information 24 in the process stage 101 of a work production line consisting of the process stage 101, working process stage 102 and assembly process stage 103 is collected and the final characteristic information of the work is estimated. The working process equipment having suitable production conditions in the work stage 102 is assigned in accordance with the estimated final characteristic information. The product quality information 25 in the working process equipment is collected and the final characteristic information of the work is estimated. The production conditions in the assembly process stage 103 are set in accordance with the estimated final characteristic information. The work is produced in such a manner that the work having the desired final characteristics is obtained. The final characteristics of the produced work are measured.
