PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly play over twenty kinds of tones by simultaneously pressing one or two keys among three keys by one finger, and touching the strings by the other finger. ;SOLUTION: Three keys 1-3 are moved on a shaft 4. An auxiliarykey 6 comprises a pin 9, and fitted to the shaft 4, to be lowered when the keys 1, 2 are simultaneously pushed. An auxiliary key 7 comprises a pin 10, and fitted to the shaft 4, to be lowered when the keys 2, 3 are simultaneously pushed. An auxiliary key 8 comprises a pin 11, and fitted to the shaft 4, to be lowered when the keys 1, 3 are simultaneously pushed. When the keys 1-3, 6-8 are lowered, the switches 13-18 are respectively closed by a projection 12 of the other end upper part. When the switch is closed, an electromagnet 21 is retracted, and a lever 19 is advanced. When at least one of keys 1-3 is pushed, the arms 23-25 are moved, a common shaft 22 is rotated, and all of a group of arms 26 installed at a position of a specific string 28 are rotated. And only the advanced lever 19 is pushed to the string, therefore only the touched string generates a required tone.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
