PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and properly confirm materials and machinery at the time of lending and returning by calling the content of each merchandise being each registered construction material and machinery on the display screen of a personal computer according to a code number. ;SOLUTION: A personal computer (e) is connected with a handy type reader (d), and connected with a printer (f). A list 20 of the data of a customer and a list 21 of the data of a rental machine or the like are prepared and registered by this personal computer (e). A code number readable by the reader (d) is attached to the outside face of each body of the rental construction materials and machinery, and the list of the data of each body is prepared according to the attached number, and registered in the personal computer (e). At the time of lending machinery, the code number attached to the body selected by the customer is read by the reader (d) connected with the personal computer (e), the data of the body following the attached number are read, and the data of the customer and rental items are added to this, and a rental slip is printed by the printer (f).
