ARTIFICIAL RICE SEEDLING CULTURE MEDIUM DUE TO FULL MELLOW HULL UTILIZATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial rice seedling culture medium which enables the growth of healthy seedlings completely with no change from soil, improves water absorptivity, water-holding capacity and gas-permeability and facilitates workability and cultivation management by exposing mellow hulls to the weather for a fixed periode, removing germination suppressing materials and processing the hulls on specified conditions later. SOLUTION: After the mellow hulls are exposed to the weather for the fixed period or in flowing water and the germination suppressing materials are removed, its humidity is regulated by the aqueous solution of citric acid in 0.2 to 0.5%, fine trace elements(FTE) such as iron, boron, manganese, zinc, copper and molybdenum are added to this solution and further, the fixed amounts of zeolite powder (or particles) and three fertilizer elements are mixed.
