PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate any possibility of connecting a communicating tool to a wrong infusion type identifying port unmatched with its characteristics and prevent an infusion mistake by providing a plurality of projections around the infusion port of an infusion container and identifying the type of the infusion by the position and the shape of the projection. ;SOLUTION: The top surface 5 of a cylinder 2 of an infusion port 1 is connected to an infusion container main body and a diaphragm 7 is provided in the bottom surface 6 of the infusion port 1. A plurality of projections 3 are provided around the cylinder 2 and the type of the infusion is identified by the position and shape of the projections 3. A connecting needle is pierced through the diaphragm 7 for connecting the infusion port 1 to an infusion type identifying communication tool 8 so that a brim 4 is provided around the cylinder to be put on a finger on the brim 4. On the other hand, a cylindrical cover is constituted around the connecting needle of the tool 8, the depth of the cylinder 10 inside is constituted to be same as the length from the bottom surface of the brim 4 to the bottom surface of the infusion port 1, a groove 9 in the connecting direction is cut in the inside of the cylinder 10, and so the type of the infusion is identified by the position and the shape of the groove 9. This constitution can connect the projection 3 of the infusion port 1 to the groove 9 only in the case of being mated to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
