PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select a sound signal to be outputted by recording a dubbing flag in a dubbing mode at the time of recording, and at the time of reproducing, detecting the dubbing flag and automatically selecting a main channel or a sub-channel in accordance with the existence of the dubbing flag. ;SOLUTION: When a dubbing instruction is impressed through an operation part 100, a control part 102 outputs a control signal for channel selection, and only in the case of impressing the dubbing instruction, impresses a dubbing flag inserting instruction. A channel selection part 106 selects the main channel or the sub-channel in accordance with the control signal outputted from the control part 102 and outputs a signal inputted through a sound input part 104. On the other hand when the dubbing flag is detected at the time of reproducing, the sub-channel is automatically selected and a recorded sound signal is outputted.
