METHOD AND DEVICE FOR WINDING PRIMARY COIL OF INSTRUMENT TRANSFORMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary coil winding method by which the winding terminating end section of the last layer of the primary coil of a instrument transformer can always be positioned to the outermost edge position of the winding width of the coil. ;SOLUTION: The number of successively wound layer coils L1, L2,... is integrated. The number of remaining layer coils is computed by subtracting the integrated number of already wound layer coils from the total number of required layer coils whenever one layer coil is wound and the number of successively wound layer coils is computed from the diameter and winding width W of a coil conductor 2, the number of required layer coils, and the predicted total number of layer coils under the condition that the winding terminating end section 2B of the last layer coil Ln is positioned to the outermost edge position of the winding width W. The layer coils are successively wound by the computed number so that the last layer coil can be terminated at the outermost edge position of the winding width W.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
