PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of saving manpower as far as possible and making the intervening amt. and distribution of silver sand uniform at the time of interposing the silver sand into the contact surfaces of the green brick briquettes. ;SOLUTION: In the stage of carrying the green brick briquettes 1 in the state of stacking the green brick briquettes in many stages to a firing stage, glue 2 is applied on at least one of the contact surfaces of the green brick briquettes 1 to be stacked before the green brick briquettes 1 at the time of interposing the silver sand 3 into the contact surfaces of the green brick briquettes 1 to be stacked. The surfaces coated with the glue 2 are brought into contact with the surfaces of the silver sand 3 leveled off in a vessel 31, by which the silver sand 3 is adhered to these surfaces.
