PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mucoimmune response that becomes a substitutive index of antigenicity and immunogenicity, and screening of protein-derived peptides having immune response inducibility to the intestinal immune system by using this index. ;SOLUTION: This screening of protein-derived peptides having imune response inducibility to the intestinal immune system comprises determining response of Peyer patch cells to interleukin 2 (IL-2), or IgA antigen) obtained from experimental animals by oral intake of protein-derived peptides, and comparing the result with response of Peyer patch cell to IL-2 (or IgA antigen) when experimental animals take undecomposed original protein, thus enabling the screening efficiently without non-oral immune processing after the oral intake.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
