PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To view the display surface of a Buddhist name tower easily, and to increase the degree of freedom on the design of the Buddhist name tower while determining the place of installation of the tower at an arbitrary place. ;SOLUTION: In the Buddhist name tower 10, a tower body 12 in an octagonal post is disposed in upright on a footstone 11 in the octagonal post rotatably by bearings. The eight external side faces 12A of the tower body 12 are all used as display surfaces. The secular names, etc., of the deceases are displayed on each eight display surface 12A together with the face photographs 12B one by one. External force required for rotating the tower body 12 can be set at a desired value by properly setting bearings. The tower body 12 cannot be turned easily by a wind, etc. Accordingly, dislay sections can be installed at arbitrary angular places, and are easy to be viewed. The degree of freedom of the design of the Buddhist name tower is improved. The Buddhist name tower can be mounted at any place in a graveyard.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
