WATERPROOF SEGMENT FOR SHIELD TUNNEL AND EXECUTION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a construction period while sufficient waterproofness is secured by attaching a waterproof sheet on the inner face of a segment body so that the edge part of the sheet is protruded in a notch formed in the inner face side edge part of the segment body. ;SOLUTION: A notch 3 is formed along the peripheral edge of a reinforced concrete-made segment body 2, and a waterproof sheet 4 formed by a fiber reinforced sheet is attached on the inner face of the segment 2 so that it is protruded in the notch 3 to constitute a waterproof segment for a shield tunnel 1. The waterproof segments 1, 1 are adjacently disposed at a prescribed position of the inside of tunnel ground. When the notch 3 is filled with a filler, which is hardened in the state where the edge part of the waterproof sheet 4 is pushed in the notch 3, the waterproof sheets 4, 4 attached to the two adjacent segment bodies 2, 2 are integrally jointed through the filler in the notch 3 to block a gap between the segment bodies 2, 2. Thus, secondary lining is unnecessitated, waterproof lining of high watertightness is executed on the inner face of the segment 1, and a construction period can be significantly shortened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
