WRIST WATCH STIMULATING MERIDIAN POINT ON SKIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrist watch capable of obtaining the effect of acupressure, acupuncture and moxibustion by intermittently stimulating meridian points on skin by daily wearing on the wrist. ;SOLUTION: Projections 4 capable of stimulating meridian points on skin around wrist are provided in the surface of a back lid 3 to constitute a wrist watch 1. As the projections 4 push and stimulate the meridian points on skin giving the similar effect to acupressure, acupuncture and moxibustion. This can be put on continuously without any effort without ill effects. As it moves while putting on, the stimulation intermittently continues with variation of strength, which leads to good stimulation. As the projections 4 are constituted of pins, the projections 4 with arbitrary material different from the back lid 3 main part are formed easily. By making the pins with gold or gold alloy to raise ornamental effect, adverse effect on skin is avoided. Weak voltage is impressed from the power source in the case 2 to the pins and effective stimulation is given to the meridian points on skin like electric acupuncture. A few kinds of back lids 3 varying the arrangement of the projections 4 are prepared and an arbitrary back lid 3 is selected in accordance with symptoms, which is fixed on the watch case 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
