PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable monitoring of a system's operating state to the full by making an operating monitor unit for a vehicle of brake energy regenerative system able to shift and adjust in accord with the movement of a driver's gaze. ;SOLUTION: A mounting device of an operating monitor unit consists of a mounting bracket 26, installing a monitor unit body 22 in the upper part of an instrument panel 25 at a position almost conformed to a line passing through a central part in the longitudinal direction of a steering wheel in a cabin, and being composed of including a stationary part (fixed plate part 26a) clamped to the upper part of the instrument panel 25 and a support part (supporting plate part 26b) supporting the monitor unit body 22 tiltably in the longitudinal direction while supporting it slidably in the vertical direction, and a locking means (butterfly nut 30). Accordingly, this mounting device is made so as to be properly capable of adjusting a vertical position and the inclination of a display panel surface in accord with a driver's eye point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
