PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inspecting positional accuracy of shape measuring machine which uses such a gauge block that can be set easily and pushed with a constant pressure and can easily and accurately measure the positional accuracy of a shape measuring machine in the axial direction in a short time. ;SOLUTION: A device 1 for inspecting positional accuracy of shape measuring machine is provided with a prism 32 set on a table 13, a slider main body 33 which can slide along the prism 32, a set of anvils 37 which are respectively provided on one end side of the prism 32 and the end face of the slider main body 33 and hold a gauge block 100 between them, a constant-pressure generating device 40 which pushes the slider main body 33 toward the gauge block 100 with a constant pressure, and an inclined block 35.
