EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT REINFORCING STRUCTURE OF COLUMN WITH WALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve execution by coating a column except for the connection part of a wall by a reinforcing plate and filling a space between a coating plate and the column with a filler in the column with the wall of existing structure. ;SOLUTION: With regard to the outer column 1 provided with the wall 2 of an existing building, the substantially whole circumference except for the connection part with the wall 2 is covered with an iron plate 3, a space between the iron plate 3 and the column 1 is filled with a filler 4 such as mortar, and they are fixed by a through bolt 5 and the like. At this time, shear force in the girder movement direction is largely acted on the building, and reinforcement improves proof stress and toughness of the column 1 because bending is mainly acted in the direction between the beams. Next, one or a plurality of fiber sheets such as carbon fiber and aramid fiber which is exchanged therefor are overlapped as a reinforcing plate to be stuck by an adhesive. Thereby the shear proof stress of the column can be reinforced equal to or more than the column whose whole circumference is covered with an iron plate, execution can be performed in a short period without providing an outer scaffolding and the like, and cost can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
