PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring a sheave's groove wear-amount wherein the wear-amount of the groove of an elevator's sheave is measured easily with a small and light-weight measuring tool. ;SOLUTION: A rectangular and plate-like base 10 with a groove provided about its center part, and a slider 11 which slides in the groove are provided, while a scale is provided on the end surface of the slider 11 and on the end surface of the base 10 contacting to that end surface. The measuring device is made to contact to main ropes 5A and 5B, and the slider 11 is pushed to contact to a sheave 1, so that the wear amount of grooves 6A and 6B are measured with ease.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
