PIPING PIT IN UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK AND EXECUTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a piping pit airtight without constructing a plug in the underground deep part of the piping pit of an underground storage tank, to prevent the corrosion of delivery piping, to make the diameter of the piping pit compact and to prevent the shaking of piping at a time of an earthquake. ;SOLUTION: The through-hole 51 allowing ground surface to communicate with an underground storage tank 1 is excavated and piping is temporarily fixed to the wall surface of the through-hole 51 by a fixing metal fitting and a bottom plate 11 becoming a form is fixed to the lower part of the through- hole 51 and concrete is successively cast and charged to fill the through-hole 51 with concrete over the almost total length thereof to construct a piping pit 5. The piping is prevented from corrosion because fixed by filled concrete and, since the interval between pipings can be reduced, the diameter of the piping pit can be reduced and the piping pit strong against an earthquake is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
