CURING OF FIBER HAVING AT LEAST TWO FIBER COATING AND CURING STAGES SEPARATED BY COOLING STAGE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method for curing a coated fiber including two fiber coating and curing stages separated by a cooling state and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: One of two fiber coating and curing stages 14 and 16 responds a coated fiber and provides a partially cured fiber and the other responds a cooled partially cured fiber and provides a coated fiber. A cooling stage 18 is laid between the two fiber coating and curing stages and responds the partially cured coated fiber. A curing reaction is caused by irradiating a coating material on the fiber, a heat occurring at most parts of the curing process is passively removed and the material is re-irradiated to attain the reaction at the highest rate possible.
