PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure uniformity by measuring -ray sensitivity of a two-dimensional radiation detector at the shipping, the degradation of -ray sensitivity caused by the use, -ray sensitivity of each imaging plate and -ray sensitivity at each measuring part of the imaging plate and correcting the ununiformity of the sensitivity in the case of detection. ;SOLUTION: After contacting or putting close a plane radiation source pasted with Pm-147 with the thickness over infinity on an imaging plate 10, the PSL (intensity of fluorescence) value is measured, relative ratio for the average value of figure at each part is obtained as a -ray sensitivity correction coefficient. During the use of the imaging plate 10 afterward, true PSL value of each part is obtained by multiplying the PSL value measured at each part by the -ray sensitivity correction coefficient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
