PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a high-low pressure integral type steam turbine with a long blade manufacturable, and to aim at an increase in single machine output despite compact in size as well as to promote a reduction in the cost of power generation by making it consist of martensitic stainless steel inclusive of a specified amount of chromium, and attaching a long blade of specified length to it. ;SOLUTION: A high-low pressure integral type steam turbine to 50-cycle power generation is made up of equipping a moving blade of blade length of more than 40 inches, consisting of martensitic stainless steel inclusive of 8 to 13wt.% chromium. Likewise, another high-low pressure integral type steam turbine for 60-cycle power generation is made up of equipping the moving blade of blade length of more than 33 inches, consisting of the martensitic stainless steel inclusive of to 8 to 13wt.% chromium. This martensitic stainless steel should be a composition containing C 0.08 to 0.18%, Si less than 0.25%, Mn less than 1.00%, Cr 8.0 to 13.0%, Ni 2.1 to 3%, Mo 1.5 to 3.0%, V 0.05 to 0.35%, Nb and Ta (total amount) 0.02 to 0.20%, and N 0.02 to 0.10% in weight.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
