PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a pressure vessel, reduce cost, and further apply a gas turbine having a higher efficiency than that of the existing one so as to attain a high efficiency. ;SOLUTION: Only a main body 3' of a boiler furnace for generating main steam by heating feed water is installed within a pressure vessel 7. A gas turbine 26 is rotated with combustion exhaust gas fed from the main body 3' of the boiler furnace. A waste heat recovery boiler 40 having a super-heater 1, a re-heater and an economizer 5' installed therein is installed outside the pressure vessel 7, wherein the exhaust gas from the gas turbine 26 is fed into the waste heat recovery boiler 40. Then, a high pressure turbine 11 is rotatively driven with superheated steam superheated by the superheater 1, and after the high pressure turbine 11 is driven, a medium or low pressure turbine 12 is rotatively driven with steam reheated by the reheator 2 and the steam after rotatively driving the medium/low pressure turbine 12 is fed to a boiler feed water system 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
