MANUFACTURE OF COLOR FILTER BY MEANS OF ELECTRODEPOSITION COATING HAVING ANION PROPERTY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter which secures a high light transmittance, improves availability of a coating material and allows a free design of the shape of a black matrix. ;SOLUTION: (1) The entire surface of a positive photoresist is coated on a transparent conductive substrate, and thereafter, the transparent conductive substrate is partially exposed via exposure and developing processes, (2) an electroposition resin layer having a hue is selectively coated on a part exposed by the exposure and developing processes for the conductive substrate by the method of electrodeposition having an anion property, (3) the remaining positive photoresists are entirely exposed, (4) the transparent electrode substrate is dried under heating to harden the electrodeposition resin layers and (5) the remaining positive photoresists are peeled with an alkalic developing liquid. (6) The remaining electrodeposition resin layers having different hues are manufactured by repeating steps (1) to (5).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
