PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CAD system for preparing plan for unit type building with which the design work of a plan and its change work can be performed in a short time. ;SOLUTION: A parts information storage means 20 of a CAD system 1 stores the data of a single grid wall including one grid module core wire and the data of double grid walls including two grid module core wires respectively belonging to two building units as the data of partition walls, and a plan designing means 31 is provided with a partition wall selecting means for selecting the data of either single grid wall or double grid walls. By automatically selecting any one of plural kinds of partition walls and utilizing the grid module core wires, the positioning operation or position changing operation of partition walls is easily performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
