WATERPROOFING STRUCTURE OF ENTRANCE HALL AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING ENTRANCE HALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow waterproof layers to be finally integrated together even though at an entrance hall the waterproof layers are formed separately at the underside of the inner surface of an opening in a wall and at the mud room side of the inside of the entrance hall. ;SOLUTION: An entrance hall comprises a wall 2 having an opening 1 for the entrance hall and a floor 10 serving as mud room inside the entrance hall. At the wall 2, a water stop plate 3 is bonded to the upper surface of a sill 2e serving as the sill of the opening 1, and a door frame 4 is mounted in the opening 1. The water stop plate 3 is not partly bonded to the sill 2e but is placed while the floor bed adjusting member 13 of the floor 10 is extended between the water stop plate 3 and the sill 2e. A waterproof sheet 11 is bonded to the upper surface of the floor bed adjusting member 13. The waterproof sheet 11 and the water stop plate 3 are stacked over the floor bed adjusting member 13 and welded together. Therefore, an integrated waterproof layer stretched between the wall 2 and the floor 10 can be formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
