PRODUCTION OF SIDE BOARD AND BANKING OF GRAND PIANO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing the side boards and banking of a grand piano capable of efficiently producing the side boards and banking and reducing a production cost. SOLUTION: Plural single plates 1a, 1b for the side boards are laminated while applying adhesives on the each other's laminating surfaces and plural single plates 2a for the banking are laminated while applying the adhesives on the each other's laminating surfaces. Sheet-like spacers 3 having flexibility are interposed between the plural laminated single plates 1a, 1b for the side boards and the plural laminated single plates 2a for the banking and are inserted in this state between a pair of molds 4a, 4b having prescribed curved surface shapes. The side boards 1 and the baking 2 are simultaneously molded by pressurization. After the pressurization is released, the molded side boards 1, the spacers 3 and the molded banking 2 are separated from each other.
