LIQUID PASSAGE AROUND OIL PUMP OF REDUCTION GEAR FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make prescribed flow rate dischargeable irrespective of the rotational direction of a motor by ameliorating a liquid passage around an oil pump driving synchronously with the motor rotational direction. ;SOLUTION: When an oil pump 1 is rotated clockwise by roration of a motor, this pump 1 pumps oil O from a strainer St with a suction port Pi via a flapper valve V2, feeding an oil requiring part from a discharge port P0 via this flapper valve V2. In addition, when the oil pump 1 is rotated counterclockwise by roration of the motor, this pump 1 pumps the oil O from the strainer St via another flapper valve V3, feeding the oil requiring part from the port Pi via flapper valve V4. Therefor, the oil pump 1 is able to discharge the prescribed flow rate irrespective of the motor rotational direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
