SOLUTION: In this digital broadcasting transmitter, specified random data are multiplexed on broadcasting data received by the digital broadcasting receiver 1 and digitally modulated signals are transmitted. A demodulation part 11 demodulates and outputs the received digitally modulated signals. A de-mapping part 12 performs a processing opposite to a mapping processing on a transmission side to the digital data, returns them to the data in an original state where an error correction code is added and outputs them, an error correction part 13 corrects the error of the data and a data decoding part 14 converts the data to original data. Then, the video signal generation part 15 synthesizes or switches the data relating to video images, the data outputted by a normalization part 17 and the data outputted by a character data generation part 20 and converts them to video signals usable in an external video display device.
