METHOD FOR MEASURING STRENGTH OF TEST PIECE WITH GOOD WORK EFFICIENCY WITHOUT GENERATING IRREGULARITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a test result free from irregularity by preventing the drying of a test piece, and to improve work efficiency. ;SOLUTION: In a uniaxial compression tester 1 having a humidistat tank 10 arranged in a tunnel shape so as to straddle three belt conveyors 21a, 21b, 21c, a test piece 7 arranged on a belt conveyor 24 is pushed out to a belt conveyor 21a in the humidistat tank 10 at an inlet 12 of the humidistat tank 10 by a push member 92 to be held in the humidistat tank 10. The test piece 7 held in the humidistat tank 10 is supplied to the feeding member 91 on a belt conveyor 22 at an outlet 13 of the humidistat tank 10. Subsequently, the feeding member 91 is stopped at the measuring position of a load cell 6 and the test piece is tested in its strength at this position to be transferred to a belt conveyor 23 and guided by the guide plate provided on the belt conveyor 23 to be removed from a belt conveyor line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
