Field strength profiles generating method for reception-testing of mobile radio receiver i.e. car radio, involves measuring, filtering and statistically modeling field strength distributions of transmitter frequencies

The method involves measuring, filtering and statistically modeling field strength distributions (FV1-FV4) of transmitter frequencies (SF1-SF4), where the filtering is carried out by a low-pass filter of second order and the modeling is carried out by logarithmic normal distribution and Rayleigh distribution. The field strength distributions are divided into two individual distance sections. Parameters concerning minimum and maximum field strengths and difference of the minimum and maximum field strengths are determined for each distance section of the field strength distributions.
