PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tornado generating mechanism and a tornado type smoking booth using it and a tornado the smiling booth in an aircraft in which a desired space can be ensured without partitioning it with partitions as obstructions, the diffusion of contaminated materials such as smoke or odor of a cigaret from the space and the contaminated materials can be eliminated and removed. ;SOLUTION: A smoking booth applied to an aircraft is provided in a ceiling near a door 15L and compression air feed slit 44 forming an air curtain 46 along the passage of a passenger cabin and a pair of exhaust ports 52 respectively located at the front end and rear end sides of the air feed slit 44 and opposed to each other. Air sucked from the air curtain 46 and the exhaust ports 52 generate two tornado air currents converting toward the respective exhaust ports 52.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
