PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound capable of forming inorganic polymers having strong heat resistance and moisture resistance by reacting a difunctional silicon compound with a boron compound and then reacting a trifunctional silicon compound and a boron compound with the above reaction product. ;SOLUTION: This polysiloxane is obtained by reacting (A) a compound of formula I (R is an alkyl, an alkenyl or an aryl; X is an alkoxy, hydroxyl, a halogen) with (B) a boron compound, then the obtained reaction product with (C) a compound of formula II and the component B. The above mentioned reaction is preferably carried out until the component A and the component B are converted to a condensate containing 2-10, especially 2-5 borosiloxane units in average and the reaction time required to satisfy the purpose is 1-8 hours. Thus, the obtained product is expected to have high flexibility, express no adhesiveness by baking at a relatively low temperature and reduce little weight by heating.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
