SOFT SWITCHING-METHOD OUTPUT CONVERTER HAVING CORRECTION MEANS FOR INTERMEDIATE VOLTAGE OF CAPACITIVE VOLTAGE DIVIDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to evaluate and correct a deviation by additionally controlling either of the main switches according to the direction of the deviation in the duration which is different depending on the amplitude of the deviation for a nominal value of the intermediate voltage so as to generate additional current in an auxiliary circuit. ;SOLUTION: A signal sent to a main switch S2 holds a point S at the potential V-, in other words, the signal has a function to extend the duration during which current is allowed to flow in an inductance LA. Therefore, the charge of a dividing capacitor CV1 is increased and the charge of a dividing capacitor CV2 is decreased and the voltage at a point M becomes small. In this manner, a deviaton initially recognized tends to be absorbed. An auxiliary switch T2 is turned off immediately after it starts up, and in return, a deviation found in the different direction is corrected for a signal cs1 which extends the conduction time of a main switch S1. By this method, the entire deviation of the intermediate voltage can be easily corrected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
