PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral feeding speed changing mechanism for a seedling placing plate of a rice transplante, which can be made small in size and light in weight and enables sure speed changing operation, by inserting a lateral feeding speed changing lever through a guide hole and locking the lever with any one of lock grooves. ;SOLUTION: By changing the rotating speed of a lateral feeding helical pole 56 while interlocking and linking the lateral feeding helical pole 56 for laterally feeding the seedling placing plate to a lateral feeding speed changing mechanism 50, the lateral feeding amount of seedling can be changed, a lateral feeding speed changing lever 80 is interlocked and linked to a shifter 63 of the lateral feeding speed changing mechanism 50, a detent mechanism 74 is installed on a speed changing shaft 70, the lateral feeding speed changing lever 80 is inserted through the guide hole forming plural lock grooves, and the speed changing lever can be locked with any one of lock grooves.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
