PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost required for evaporating and concentrating a water solution to a high concentration by an auto-vapor compression system, by simplifying the equipment and also markedly lowering installation cost. ;SOLUTION: Water solution is fed into an auto-vapor compression type evaporator 1 equipped with a blower compressor 15 and a steam ejector 19, and the water solution is evaporated and concentrated to a medium concentration by single stage compression of steam by the blower compressor 15. Next, the water solution of medium concentration is evaporated and concentrated to a final concentration by a two-stage compression consisting of compression of steam by the blower compressor 15 and compression of steam by the steam ejector 19.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
