PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheetlike material splicing device that aims at almost complete automation and also ease of handling, aside from the promotion of shortening a sheetlike material line. ;SOLUTION: This device is provided with a film suction holding means 10 with a suction box 11 being reciprocable in the vertical direction to a film running plane determined by a pair of guide rollers 4 and 5, and when coming into contact with a film 3, making it into vacuum suction for locking, and a film cutter means 20 equipped with a film cutter 27 being installed in opposite to this film suction holding means in relation to the film running plane and capable of reciprocating motion in the vertical direction and a double-side adhesive tape sticking device 27, respectively. In addition, it is also provided with a scrap take-up roller 8 winding the tip side of a succeeding film guided by another guide roller 7, and a film splicing means 30 equipped with a film guide roller capable of reciprocating motion in the diagonal direction after passing through an interval between the guide roller and the scrap take-up roller and coming into contact with the film suction holding means, and a film cutter 38, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
