PRODUCTION OF PORCINE EPIDEMIC DIARRHEA VIRUS (PEDV) SENSITIVE CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV) producing cells effectively, useful for an inactivated virus vaccine, a diagnosis, etc., by culturing cultured cells originated from a pig with a trypsin-added cell culturing liquid and collecting trypsin resistant cells. ;SOLUTION: This method for producing PEDV producing cells, is to culture cultured cells originated from a pig with a trypsin-added culturing solution obtained by mixing 10vol.% tryptose phosphate broth, 100μg/ml kanamycin, 1μg/ml fungizone and 10μg/ml trypsin with an Eagle MEM solution, and collect trypsin resistant cells. Further, it is preferable to inoculate PEDV to PEDV producing trypsin resistant renal cells (TR-SK cells) or PEDV producing trypsin resistant porcine intestine epithelial cells (TR-CCI cells), culture them with a culturing liquid added with 75-100μg/ml trypsin for growing the PEDV, and then isolate the virus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
