NEW MATERIAL:A gene fragment having DNA sequence to code a constant region polypeptide of feline immunoglobulin gamma chain. EXAMPLE:A gene fragment having an amino acid sequence shown by the formula. USE:A diagnosticum, remedy, preventive, etc., for feline diseases, especially infected diseases. PREPARATION:A feline fraction to be considered to code a constant region of feline immunoglobulin is obtained from chromosome DNA of feline liver cell by using human immunoglobulin gene as a probe. Immunoglobulin gamma chain C range cDNA is cloned from cDNA library of feline antibody-forming cell using the gene fraction as a probe to find amino acid sequence of cloned gene fraction.
