PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable machining of a dynamic pressure groove with relatively high precision, easy process, and high efficiency in comparison with rolling and electrolytic grinding. SOLUTION: To provide high precision, fine processing of submicrometer order easily and efficiently by; securing mutually immovably an electrode tool 23 having an exposed electrode portion 2k of a dynamic pressure groove shape to be formed and a bearing material as a workpiece with a prescribed mutual spacing so that a groove is machined without moving the electrode tool 23 and machining precision is prevented from lowering due to feed of the electrode tool 23, controlling the dynamic pressure groove machining amount into the bearing material 22 based on the relationship determined in advance between the machining amount and the total amount of electricity required for the dynamic pressure groove machining by measuring the amount of electricity supplied from an electrolytic machining power source 24 to obtain an accurate final machining amount of the dynamic pressure groove, thereby controlling the dynamic pressure groove machining amount into the bearing material 22.
