PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform the incoming call reject reason to a caller without increasing the capacity of a ROM of a portable telephone set by selecting a corresponding voice message at a network based on an incoming call reject reason informed in advance from a portable telephone set and informing the voice message to a called party. ;SOLUTION: When a portable telephone set selects an incoming call reject reason, an operation section a-1 sends the signal to a network side (base station) via an MM1 task (interface with operation section a-1) a-2 of a software of a control section, a TE task (controlling the portable telephone set) a-3, a CC task (processing a layer signal of a call control signal) a-4, and a radio section TRX1. The sent signal is inputted to a CC task b-1 of a software of a control section of the network side via a radio section TRX2. The network side informs the signal from the CC task b-1 to a voice message section b-2 to send the message to the caller.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
