PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform precise work in lathe machining to a member hard to be cut in an overhang-supported condition by holding it by a guide bush. ;SOLUTION: A round rod member is rotatably held by a guide bush 3 installed and fixed on the main body side of a lathe work device to be supplied along its length, so it is supplied from the guide bush 3 toward a work tool disposed on the main body side, so lathe work is performed in an overhang- supported condition, where a member having a fixed lubricating layer 2 of a specified thickness preliminarily formed on an outer circumferential surface of it is used as the round rod member 1, thereby low friction of the holding condition by the guide bush 3 can be made in lathe machining.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
