AUXILIARY METAL FITTING FOR ATTACHING THERMOCOUPLE AND THERMOCOUPLE ATTACHING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly attach the tip part of a thermocouple by preventing the separation thereof from the thermometric part of the tip part of a nozzle. ;SOLUTION: This auxiliary metal fitting 10 is constituted by attaching a thermocouple 1 measuring the temp. of a nozzle tip part 2a having a heater 5 attached thereto to the nozzle tip part 2a by an attaching member and providing a pair of metal fittings equipped with annular members 11 curved into a semicircular shape, protruding members 12 and semicircular disc-shaped flange members 14. The annular members 11 of the auxiliary metal fittings 10 are brought into contact with the attaching member under pressure by using the auxiliary metal fittings 10 and the mutually opposed protruding members 12 are fixed by a clamping means of bolts and nuts and the thermocouple 1 can be certainly attached to the nozzle tip part 2a. Further, even if the fastening force of the attaching member is lowered on the basis of thermal expansion or the deterioration of material quality by high temp., the auxiliary metal fittings 10 reinforced by the almost disc-shaped flange members 14, 14 hold the thermocouple 1 to a proper position certainly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
